Children for Children (CFC)  was founded in 1996 by parents concerned that many New York City children were growing up without meaningful, accessible opportunities to become engaged in their greater community from an early age despite the powerful individual and societal benefits afforded by youth service. CFC fosters community involvement and social responsibility in young people, offers opportunities for young people from preschool through high school to grow involved, through hands-on service and philanthropy programs that teach the value of volunteering and giving. CFC's programs accommodate a wide range of ages, abilities, interests and busy schedules just right for kids, families, schools, educators and other community youth organizations.

Feeding America's Hungry Children's (FAHC) network of more than 17 regional food banks and food-rescue organizations serves 16 states by distributing food and grocery products to approximately 100 local charitable hunger relief agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, women's shelters, Community Kitchens, and other organizations that provide emergency food assistance. FAHC solicits donated food and grocery products from the nation's food and grocery industry and distributes it to hungry people across America. FAHC provided services to 13 member agencies in 8 States throughout America. These agencies were the recipients of 1,944,753 pounds of

World Hunger Year (WHY) Founded in 1975, World Hunger Year (WHY) is a leader in the fight against hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. WHY advances long-term solutions to hunger and poverty by supporting community-based organizations that empower individuals and build self-reliance, i.e., offering job training, education and after school programs; increasing access to housing and healthcare; providing microcredit and entrepreneurial opportunities; teaching people to grow their own food; and assisting small farmers. WHY connects these organizations to funders, media and legislators. At WHY, we envision a world without hunger and poverty. If we can shift the prevailing viewpoint on why hunger and poverty exist, then we can influence the policymakers and put an end to this human tragedy.

Pajama Program provides new pajamas and new books to children in need, many who are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Thousands of the children we serve live in group homes and shelters and are shuffled often between temporary living facilities. Many of them have been abused or abandoned, and have never enjoyed the simple comfort of having a mother or father tuck them in at bedtime and read to them. Since 2001 we have provided more than 700,000 pajamas and books to children in need nationwide. Our Pajama Program segments on NBC's The TODAY Show which aired in December 2008 and The Oprah Winfrey Show, which aired August 2008 and twice in 2007, helped us grow to 73 chapters in 42 States nationwide.
